July Classes

Beginner Crochet Class, $30 per 2 hour class) 
Saturday, July 6th (1pm - 3pm)
Have you always wanted to learn to crochet, or are you a knitter who would like to use crochet stitches to add beautiful edgings to your knitted pieces? This class is for you ~ join us to learn something fun and new!

Create Your Own Crochet Class, $30 per 2 hour lesson + supplies 
If you can't make the scheduled class above and want to learn to crochet, call to schedule your own class. Michelle Coker offers a variety of crochet classes at the shop: Beginner Crochet, Blocks, Granny Squares, and Edges & Borders.

Create Your Own Knitting Class, $30 per 2 hour lesson + supplies 
This class is for anyone from the beginner who wants to learn the basics to the advanced student who would like help tackling a specific project. If you would like to schedule a one-on-one lesson let us know ~ we will be glad to schedule a lesson at your convenience.

July Knit-a-long

The beautiful Wingspan Shawl/Scarf is knitted using simple garter stitch combined with short rows and amazing sock yarn! You will enjoy the knitting challenge and watching the scarf grow as it works up very quickly. Stop by the shop to sign-up soon and to pick your yarn.

We will meet on Tuesdays in July (1pm - 3pm).

Chemo Hats

Attention all ~ our friends at Lafayette General Hospital have contacted us to let us know that they are in need of adult size chemo hats. If you are so inclined, we encourage you to knit or crochet one hat or maybe even a few hats to donate to this terrific cause. If you would like help choosing yarn or a pattern for this project, come by the shop and we would be glad to help you. Please drop completed hats off at the shop so we can get them to the hospital. Thank you!
